The population of Hungary is 10,198,315.

According to the 2001 National Census approximately 3% (circa 314,060 people) of the Hungarian population admitted to belong to an OFFICIAL nationality (Gypsies, Germans, Croatians, Slovakians, Romanians, Ukrainians, Serbs, Polish, Slovenians, Greeks, Bulgarians, Rusyns, Armenians)  Apart from this 16,081 people admitted to belong to NOT OFFICIAL nationalities (Jewish, Chinese, Russian, Arabic, etc) According to estimates instead approximately 10% of the 10,000,000 Hungarian population belongs to a nationality.  In Hungary there are 13 official nationalities which are the following:
