Dear Visitors,
We offer private sightseeing tours in many languages for independent travellers to Hungary. Whether you are a family, a couple, travelling on your own or with your friends and require high-standard services, we would like to meet your expectations and even try to exceed them.
Dedication, experience, personal care and flexibility are crucial for us in making your stay memorable. Discover Budapest and numerous other locations in Hungary with an attentive, knowledgeable licensed guide and a friendly professional driver. Gain first-hand experience about the country, its history, culture, everyday life, cuisine and a lot more.
Because traffic conditions in Hungary and especially in Budapest make it difficult to concentrate on the road and the guests at the same time, we believe that you get the best service if we leave the driving to the driver and the guiding to the guide. Not only do you get more attention this way, but precious time is saved too, as finding parking spots and paying for parking fees is the driver’s job.
As for flexibility, the itineraries below are suggestions. If you have any special interests, we are more than happy to tailor the tour to your needs. Also you can decide where and when the tour should start and finish (normally pick-up is at your hotel).
We are children-friendly. Children up to the age of 14 can take part in the tours free of charge. We can provide car seats and strollers at request and English speaking, baby-sitting service can be arranged for.

Gödöllõ 4-hour tour
The former royal town is only a 30-minute drive from Budapest. Visit the beautifully restored Baroque palace – the coronation present Franz Joseph and Sissi got from the Hungarian State. The golden age of the town of Gödöllõ coincides with the life of Antal Grassalkovich, Maria Theresa's favourite. He began the construction of the palace and his descendants had it expanded. After the male lineage of the family died out, the estate was purchased by the Hungarian State. Enlargements were made to the designs of Miklós Ybl (the architect of the Hungarian State Opera House in Budapest) and the palace became one of the most important Baroque buildings in Hungary. The royal couple, especially Sissi loved spending time at the estate. She was an excellent horse rider and roamed the gentle rolling hills around the town. The guided tour takes you through the royal suites, The Age of the Grassalkovich and the Sissi exhibitions as well as the Weapon Cabinet and the beautiful park.

Szentendre 4/6-hour tour
A visit to Szentendre makes a wonderful half-day trip. The town is a pleasant 30-minute drive from Budapest. It lies to the north of the capital on the bank of the Danube. With its winding streets, colourful Baroque houses, orthodox churches, art galleries and cafes it has long attracted Hungarians and tourists alike. Highlights of this trip include a visit to some of the churches, a walk in the centre and a visit to one of the art galleries. The numerous arts and crafts shops that line the main street sell high quality hand-made products like embroidered linen and dresses, hand-painted porcelain, carved wood, etc.
Szentendre is a gateway to the picturesque Danube Bend. During Roman times it was a strategically important link in the system of the defences built for the protection of the Roman Empire. Its name probably comes from an orthodox monastery dedicated to St Andrew the Apostle, which was founded near the town in the 11th century. In the Middle Ages orthodox Serbs arrived here in several waves. The townscape is still dominated by the towers of beautiful orthodox churches that they founded after their arrival and settlement. The magnificent, richly carved iconostasis of these churches are the work of Hungarian icon painters, craftsmen from the Balkans and masters from Moscow and Ukraine.
Szentendre used to be a flourishing merchant town. The colourful Baroque houses that characterize its architecture all date back to the heyday of the town, that is to the 18th century. The town has had a lively artist colony since the 19th century. There is a large number of museums and galleries exhibiting the works of top 20th century Hungarian painters. The Margit Kovács Museum is highly recommended, it exhibits the works of the noted ceramic artist Margit Kovács. For children and guests with a sweet tooth the Marzipan Museum will be the best choice.
